Altitude is the advantage created by perspective.
From higher up, a business looks like a system. You can see how marketing, software, data and people connect, where time and money leak between them, and the better route. We help established organisations get that view, then build what it shows them.
Two ideas
Clarity from above
We look at the whole business, not one channel or one tool. Marketing, technology, people and process are treated as one system, because the expensive problems sit between them.
Capability at every level
A strategy is only useful if it changes the work people do on Monday. We turn plans into working systems: assistants, automations, platforms and campaigns that make everyday work faster and better.
What we believe
Technology must earn its place
We don't sell technology for its own sake. Every recommendation is one of nine moves, and building something new is only one of them. Often the right answer is to improve, integrate or leave alone.
AI should make people more capable
The goal is to remove low-value work and make expertise easier to reach, so your people handle more responsibility and better work, not to treat staff as a cost to cut.
Evidence over adjectives
We label every estimate with how confident we are in it, show our arithmetic, and don't publish results we can't evidence. That's why our examples are clearly marked as illustrations.
You should own your systems
Your data, your accounts and the work we do for you are yours. We design so you're never locked in to us or to a platform you've outgrown.
Senior people, AI-assisted
Senior people set strategy, lead conversations and own recommendations. AI does much of the research, drafting, monitoring and reporting. A person approves every public asset.
Measure what matters
Booked revenue, not clicks. Capacity created, not features shipped. If we can't measure it, we say so, and we don't pretend.
Where we sit
Between the providers you probably already know, and connecting what they leave apart.
Web development companies
We're more commercially strategic: a website is one part of how you win and serve customers.
Marketing agencies
We're more technically capable: the CRM, data and automation underneath are part of the job.
IT consultancies
We're more creative and more human: systems are designed around how people actually work.
AI advisers
We're implementation-focused: a strategy deck is a starting point, not the deliverable.
Large consulting firms
We're more flexible and closer to the work, with senior people in every engagement.
Software vendors
We're independent: we'll recommend their product when it's right, and build when it isn't.
How we use AI ourselves.
We're building Altitude's own operations on the same kind of systems we build for clients, including an AI inbox-triage system and a custom finance platform. It's how we deliver more for the fee, and it means we live with the trade-offs ourselves.
Client information is only used in AI services under business terms that don't allow it to be used for model training, and we share only what a task needs. Details are in our privacy policy.
Our AI rules
- A person approves every public asset and every customer-facing message we design
- AI-assisted claims about regulated services are checked against the rules before publishing
- Business-tier AI services only, with training on client data switched off
- We tell clients where AI is used in their work
What stands behind the work
You should be able to judge a partner by its method and its thinking before you meet anyone. So we publish both.
A method
The Altitude Diagnostic examines a business through nine lenses, values each opportunity with its confidence stated, and recommends one of nine moves for each. Building something new is only one of them.
A way of working
Staged engagements with a decision point after each stage, fixed scopes where the work is standard, documentation as part of the job, and accounts, data and code that stay yours.
Worked examples
How we would approach six common problems, shown in full: the findings, the system, the stages, the assumptions and the arithmetic. Clearly labelled as illustrations.
Published thinking
Long-form insights on AI, business systems, search and marketing, with every third-party fact linked to its source.
Free tools
Assessments and calculators that show their scoring and formulas, so you can test our reasoning on your own numbers.
Let's look at your business from above.
A 30-minute strategy call, at no cost. You'll come away with a clearer view of where your marketing and systems are losing value, whether or not we work together.
