A website that wins work, not just compliments.
For businesses whose website looks fine but doesn't produce, or can't prove, enough enquiries. We build fast, secure, accessible sites, hand-coded or on the right platform, and wire them into your CRM and analytics. Every enquiry is then captured, followed up and traced back to the page and campaign that produced it.
Signs you need this
If two or more of these sound familiar, there's likely time and money to recover.
Slow, heavy pages
A page builder, a dozen plugins and an oversized theme make pages slow on mobile. Visitors from paid ads leave before the page loads, and you pay for the click anyway.
Enquiries vanish into an inbox
Forms email whoever set them up years ago. Leads sit unanswered, and nobody can report how many arrived or what happened to them.
Every change needs a developer
Small updates take weeks, so campaigns launch without proper landing pages. Paid traffic lands on a generic home page and converts poorly.
Security and accessibility are unknowns
Nobody knows when the plugins were last updated or whether the site works with a keyboard or screen reader. Both are business risks, not technical details.
What changes for the business
Faster pages, fewer lost visitors
Hand-coded pages ship only the code they need and are served from Cloudflare's network. We build to Google's 'good' Core Web Vitals thresholds: largest contentful paint within 2.5 seconds, interaction to next paint under 200 milliseconds and layout shift under 0.1.
Every enquiry captured and traced
Forms, calls and bookings flow into your CRM with their source attached. You can see which pages, campaigns and searches produce customers, not just visits.
More people can use it
We design and test against WCAG 2.2 level AA, the current W3C standard. That widens your market and reduces the risk of a disability discrimination complaint, since the Australian Human Rights Commission says the Disability Discrimination Act covers digital services.
Less to patch and less to break
Without a sprawling plugin stack there is far less to update and secure. Maintenance costs less, and security updates don't break the layout.
Ready for search and AI search
Semantic markup, structured data that matches the visible content and pages that answer questions directly. Search engines and AI tools can read the site and describe your business accurately.
Better every month
On Department packages, landing pages and conversion tests continue after launch. The site improves from real visitor behaviour rather than opinion.
What we build
Conversion strategy and structure
Sitemap, page priorities and user flows built from your services, buyer questions and search data, plus a redirect plan so existing search value carries over.
Design and copy
Page designs and copy written for decision-makers, drafted with AI from your brand knowledge base and edited by people.
The right build for the job
Hand-coded HTML, CSS and JavaScript for most service businesses, Shopify for commerce, or a CMS where your team edits often. We recommend what fits, not what we prefer.
Integrations and tracking
Forms and bookings connected to HighLevel or your existing CRM, GA4 with consent controls, call tracking and conversion events for your ad platforms.
Accessibility, speed and SEO checks
Testing against WCAG 2.2 AA, Core Web Vitals and structured data validation before launch, then a redirect and indexing check after.
Hosting and care
Hosting on Cloudflare with monitoring, backups, updates and small changes under a care plan, or as part of Department and Department+ packages.

Worked example
Industry association: testing whether five member tools should become one platform
An illustrative industry association with 4,000 members and 14 staff pays for a CRM, an events platform, an email platform, a survey tool and a payments add-on that don't share data, so renewals are chased by hand. A five-year cost model sets the conditions for replacement, and if they hold, one member platform with a self-service portal, Stripe payments and connections to email and Xero removes the manual work.
- Member portal
- Single member record
- Stripe payments
- Renewals and events
- Email platform
- Xero
- Staff and board reporting
Guardrails, fit and measurement
Guardrails we apply
- Your domain, hosting account, code and content are in your name, or handed over on request.
- Analytics and ad pixels follow visitor consent settings, collect only what's needed and stay off pages where visitors could reveal sensitive information, following the OAIC's guidance on tracking pixels.
- Forms ask only for the fields you need, are protected against spam submissions and send data over encrypted connections.
- Accessibility is tested with automated tools plus manual keyboard and screen-reader checks, and we report open issues honestly rather than claiming full conformance.
Not the right fit if
- You want a template site live this week at the lowest price. A page builder will be cheaper and faster, and for some businesses that is a reasonable choice.
- You want a site that is launched and left alone. Our builds are designed to be measured and improved, and that work only pays off if someone uses the data.
What we measure
- Enquiry and booking conversion rate by page and traffic source
- Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP and CLS) on key page templates
- Share of enquiries reaching the CRM with their source attached
- Organic clicks to service and location pages
- Accessibility issues open versus resolved
- Time to apply security updates
Pricing
Landing-page sprints start from $2,500, full websites are scoped individually after discovery, and website care is included in the Department and Department+ packages.
Questions, answered.
Why hand-code instead of using WordPress or a page builder?
For most service businesses, a hand-coded site loads faster, has fewer moving parts to secure and costs less to maintain. We built our own website this way, hosted on Cloudflare. Where your team needs to edit page layouts often or you sell online, we'll recommend a CMS or Shopify instead.
What does a website cost?
Full websites are scoped individually after a short discovery, because page count, integrations and content needs vary widely. A landing-page sprint starts from $2,500. Website care and a monthly landing page or conversion test are included in the Department package, and two a month in Department+.
How long does a new website take?
A full site usually takes 7 to 13 weeks from discovery to launch (indicative), depending on page count, content, integrations and how quickly approvals come back. Landing pages are scoped as sprints and are much faster.
Will we lose our Google rankings when the site changes?
Redesigns lose search value when URLs change without redirects or ranking content is removed. We inventory every existing URL, map redirects, keep or improve the content that ranks and watch Search Console after launch. No one can promise rankings won't move, but the avoidable losses usually come from skipped steps like these.
Who owns the site, and can we edit it ourselves?
You own the domain, code, design and content. Text and images can be edited through a simple content file or a CMS if your team needs one, and a care plan covers the changes you'd rather not make yourself.
