Privacy policy
How we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information. Last updated 21 October 2026.
Who we are
This policy applies to Altitude Creative Pty Ltd (ABN 45 667 154 065), referred to here as "Altitude Creative", "we" or "us". We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Contact and business details, such as your name, email address, phone number, business name, role and website.
- Enquiry details you choose to give us, such as your goals, the size of your business and the services you're interested in.
- Tool answers and results, such as your responses to our AI readiness assessment, GEO check or calculators, but only if you choose to request a report. Results shown on screen are calculated in your browser and aren't sent to us otherwise.
- Communications with us by email, phone, video call or message, including our website chat.
- Account and billing details if you become a client, such as billing contacts and ABN. Card and bank details are collected and stored by our payment provider, not by us.
- Technical information when you use our website, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, which our hosting provider processes to deliver and secure the site.
- Analytics and advertising data, such as pages viewed and how you arrived at the site, but only if you accept cookies. See Cookies and analytics.
We don't ask for sensitive information, such as health information, through our website. When we work for healthcare clients, we avoid handling patient health information. If a service ever requires it, we'll agree in writing how it will be handled before we receive any.
How we collect it
Mostly directly from you: when you fill in a form, email or call us, or meet with us. We also collect business contact details from public sources, such as business websites, professional networking profiles and the Australian Business Register, when we research businesses we may contact about our services. When we provide services to a client, we may handle personal information held in that client's systems, under our agreement with them and on their instructions.
Why we use it
- To respond to enquiries and arrange meetings.
- To provide, manage and improve our services.
- To manage client accounts, invoicing and payments.
- To send service messages, and marketing where the law allows. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time.
- To keep our website and systems secure.
- To meet our legal obligations.
Our use of AI services
We use artificial intelligence services to help deliver our work, for example to summarise enquiries, draft replies and produce content. We use providers under business terms that do not allow them to use your information to train their models, and we share only what a task needs.
Who we share it with
We don't sell personal information. We share it only with:
- service providers who help us run our business, including website hosting and security (Cloudflare), email and productivity software (Microsoft 365), customer relationship management and communications (HighLevel), payments (Stripe), accounting (Xero) and AI services;
- analytics and advertising providers (Google and Meta), only if you accept cookies on our website;
- professional advisers, such as our accountant or lawyer; and
- anyone we're required or authorised by law to share it with.
Overseas disclosure
Some of our service providers store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries where they operate. We take reasonable steps to make sure they protect it in a way that is consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Tag Manager to manage the measurement tools on our website. If you accept cookies, we use:
- Google Analytics, to understand how the site is used, such as which pages are visited and how people arrive;
- Google Ads and the Meta pixel, to measure whether our advertising leads to enquiries and to show our ads to people who have visited the site.
These tools set cookies and send information such as the pages you view, your device and browser, your approximate location and your IP address to Google and Meta, which may process it outside Australia under their own privacy policies.
Nothing that sets analytics or advertising cookies runs until you choose Accept in the cookie banner. If you choose Essential only, Google's tags may still send limited signals without cookies (for example, that a page was viewed) so we can estimate overall traffic. You can change your choice at any time with , also in the footer of every page.
Website chat
Our website chat is provided by HighLevel, our customer relationship management provider. It loads after you've answered the cookie banner. When you start a chat, the details and messages you send are stored in our CRM so we can reply, and the chat keeps a small identifier in your browser so your conversation continues from page to page. It isn't used for analytics or advertising.
We don't send your form answers, chat messages or contact details to Google or Meta. Our hosting provider may also use strictly necessary cookies or similar technology to protect the site from abuse.
Keeping it secure
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure, including access controls and encrypted connections. If a data breach is likely to cause serious harm, we'll notify the people affected and, where required, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires (for example, financial records). We then delete or de-identify it.
Access and correction
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. Contact us using the details below and we'll respond within 30 days.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we've handled your personal information, please contact us first and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
